Occupational Therapy
Children experience the world through movement, play, and connection. At Como Pediatric Communication Center, our Occupational Therapists (OTs) help children build the skills they need for daily life—from zipping a coat to staying focused in school.

My child and I had a wonderful experience at Como! We felt their business practices were clearly outlined in their communications and their website and in line with similar practices in the area. I was grateful that their front office staff navigated the headache of ensuring my insurance would cover the services we sought. The front office staff/manager(s) were forthcoming when my deductible reset and I would again incur out of pocket costs. All of the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. My child genuinely looked forward to attending speech! Any time our speech path was unavailable we always had positive experiences with who we saw in their place. I was always impressed, too, with the inter-staff communication in these circumstances. The therapists we saw always knew what specific skills my child was working on mastering to ensure as much consistency across therapists as possible!
My son went here for speech therapy for about 3 months and we were super happy with the progress he made! Our experience was great! The front staff were very friendly and informative with the initial intake process and were able to accommodate any schedule changes. My son really enjoyed working with Ms. Trudy and she was wonderful with giving updates and ideas to work on at home after each session. He really loved his graduation present on this last day as well! Highly recommend 🙂
My son has loved seeing Jen (OT) for the past several years, she’s made his experience with food/picky eating enjoyable and he has come leaps and bounds since starting with her. The front staff (Craig, Laurie, etc) are so friendly and have answered any and all questions I’ve ever had promptly. I’ve never had any issues with billing or fees, even when we changed policies, as they are clearly outlined in their policies. As someone who also works in a therapy setting I understand and appreciate their transparency with late cancels etc. I frequently recommend them to clients and friends! Not only are the therapist top notch, but the overall experience has been great!
